The Love of Making

I came across Purl Soho by accident, as you do when you spend way too much time on the internet looking for stuff.  I can't remember when it was but maybe 3-4 years ago. I first got excited about a pattern they had for a dressing gown as mine was falling apart so I ordered it in hard copy form from their shop in NY.  Here it is: I even went and bought fabric to make it but, shame on me, I still haven't done it! That started my love affair with Purl Soho.  I think I must go on their site every day now as I constantly find great knitting, sewing and crochet patterns but also I find it hugely inspirational for a lot of reasons: 1.  They give away great stuff FREE .  (This is one of the free patterns for beginners)                                   2.
